What is the difference between active and inactive accounts?
Active accounts are accounts that will be included when Omni-Mail sends and receives mail (i.e. when you click the Send/Receive button, or when the program performs an automatic update).  Omni-Mail will not go and update the mailboxes for inactive accounts so even if an inactive account receives new mail, Omni-Mail will not download it.  This is useful when you just want to update selected accounts.  You can set an account to active/inactive by going to Tools --> Accounts.  To the left of each account is a checkbox; check it if you want the account to be active and un-check it if you want the account to be inactive.
