If you have already installed and activated Disk One, but receive this problem when installing Disk Two and Disk Three, it is usually caused by
Windows protection software preventing the last step of the
activation process from completion. This last step involves changing
some Windows settings that are unique to ONE. This may have appeared
to the protection software as a system invasion attempt and hence it
was stopped.
The fix
is to use the attached file CD23fix.reg, which can be downloaded below. All this file will do is
complete this last step of the activation process. This file will
only modify ONE settings and will not do any harm to your computer.
To run
this file, simply save it anywhere on your hard drive then double
click on it. If double clicking the file does not open it, go to
Start -> Run -> Type "regedit", without the quotes, then
drag the file CD23fix.reg into the Run text area. Answer
Yes when prompted whether you want to add this file to the registry.
Click OK when the operation is completed, then reinsert
CD2 or CD3 again to check if the problem has been fixed.
